A fun, easily learned game for individuals or small groups to practice using and developing working memory. Working memory is an important classroom skill to acquire for every child. It is important for them to be able to hold pieces of information in their head for short periods of time that are not necessary to be stored long term, these could be remembering instructions, recalling a sentence or a maths problem. These cards are easily adapted dependent on the individual starting with one card, once this has been mastered, add in another and so on. Can also be used as lesson openers for a whole class approach.
Working memory difficulties are often associated with poor phonological awareness, learning disorders and learning difficulties, attention issues, anxiety, worry and trauma. Age range; these items are suitable for children aged 3 to 16 years
