Thank you for purchasing products from Ease.ie. We are committed to providing high-quality educational resources and furniture designed to enhance the learning environment in your classroom. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions of our 1-year warranty on eligible products.

Warranties:

We want you to have a worry-free shopping experience at EASE. That's why we offer a contractual warranty on our products, in addition to the statutory latent defect warranty as per the Irish Civil Code. Our products are covered by a minimum 1-year contractual warranty, allowing you to return defective or unfit products within the warranty period. Many of our products have longer warranty periods, which are specified in each product description in our catalogues and on our website. Please note that our contractual warranties do not cover abnormal or non-compliant use of the product, normal wear and tear, or external incidents. Specific instances not covered include normal wear and tear to parts, consumables, incorrect use or maintenance, external causes, damage due to incorrect client repair, and items with specified expiry dates. During the warranty period, if a product is found to have material or manufacturing defects, we will repair or replace it with a similar product based on its value and the magnitude of the defect. If we are unable to provide a new or repaired product within 20 days after receiving your return, we will extend the warranty period accordingly, except if the product does not fall within the scope of the contractual warranty. For repairs requested outside the warranty period, return shipping charges are at the customer's expense. Spare parts, wear parts, and repaired parts may be invoiced separately, and a quote will be provided upon request.

1-Year Limited Warranty

Ease.ie offers a 1-year limited warranty on all products purchased directly from our website.  This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Individual products may have a longer manufacturers warranty.

What is Covered:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • Structural integrity of furniture items (excluding wear and tear).
  • Manufacturing defects in educational resources.

What is Not Covered:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  • Damage caused by harsh chemicals or cleaning agents.
  • Damage due to excessive force or improper handling.
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage.
  • Products with moving parts are not covered under this warranty.

Care and Maintenance:

To ensure the longevity of your Ease.ie products and to maintain the validity of your warranty, please follow these care and maintenance guidelines:

  1. Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean surfaces. Avoid the use of harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the materials and void your warranty.
  2. Handling: Avoid using excessive force when handling or moving furniture. Lift and move items carefully to prevent damage.
  3. Normal Use: Use products within the scope of normal day-to-day classroom activities. Avoid placing excessive weight or pressure on furniture and educational resources.

Warranty Claim Process:

If you believe your product has a defect covered by this warranty, please follow these steps to initiate a claim:

Exclusions and Limitations:

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. It does not cover incidental or consequential damages, nor does it extend to any third-party products or accessories.
